After much deliberating I have decided to go tonight, I'm not gonna let any threats of what might possibly happen stop me from going & supporting my team, I'm hoping - maybe naively that common sense will prevail & the game won't result in an early exodus to the pub

Lets be honest and examine the facts.

Blackpool fans are currently protesting at matches
There is a good chance they'll do so tonight.
There is no history of violence despie the gob****ing of one or two posters on their forum, so it follows that it is unlikely to be any tonight.
If, and it is only an if, there is a heightened sense of tension then our adequate stewards will deal with the matter and call for assistance.
Once the bell ends are on the street it becomes the problem of the police anyway.

So I say congratulations to 'the clowns' for not giving in to a small form of terrorism. I also say well done to 'the clowns' for having the foresight to provide the lashers with a platform to voice their opinions - and one that they'll pay the best part of ten grand for.

Thank god the clowns are running the circus rather than the bearded women!

Presume it was a 1-1 draw, Cashy? How did Tom Aldred do, if he played?

Glad you decided to go a Cashy, Hope you felt safe throughout?

Think we played some good football again tonight, Josh looks like he's carried on his good form from last season, Crooks made a few good passes, also thought Shay looked lively when he come on!

Wouldn't like to be Coley this week picking his best team for Luton!

Only a draw, but a victory over the internet bullies who tried to get Stanley to abandon the match.

A cracking goal by Seamus, made all the sweeter by the knowledge that the gutless appeasers who wanted the game called off weren't there to see it.

Re: Blackpool game

it wasn't a safety issue the reason baldy, that was never a problem,;) the best team fer luton will be nigh impossible to get right, that many have played very well in the friendlies.:) its a good problem we dont normally have imho.;)
