Stanley on top, Crawley not pressing in midfield so Crooksey getting forward, beautiful strike from the edge of the box for the second. Nice move down the right involving Crooks and McConville led to Josh being put through in the box, brought down: pen and red card, Josh stuck it away no problem. No excuse now not to come away with the win. Both Davies and Deano now missing at the back, but Crawley look poor. We need to keep working and playing positively, and the win should be ours.

Great game in the sun !!,professional performance from front to back.
Too many good performances to mention,but billy Kee edged it for me,top centre forward display and was rewarded with a goal.
Coonnelly ran the game and we completely dominated them.
They were very poor and played very direct,like a typical conference team.
If they don't change that's were they will end up !!

Brilliant result 2 different centre backs and still a clean sheet and cleared of line in dying seconds means concentration levels to the end, Kee 3 in 3 his he back to his best let,s hope so not many better in league 2 need to win Tuesday now to keep it going and could even be in top 3. I said in a previous post it takes about 9 games to shape the table and season looking very good indeed we could become very hard to beat and be genuine promotion material.

Looking forward to the Football League show in Channel 5 tonight. Sounds like we were all over them even before they were reduced to 10 men.Nice to see Crooksy and Billy continuing to challenge Mr Windass for top goalscorer. Bring on the Glovers, we owe them big time.

Totally dominant performance, Coneelly always there as an outlet at the back, Kee putting himself around for 90 mins and well deserving of the goal which, incidentally, rounded off one of the best moves of the match. Make no mistake, Crawley were poor, but Stanley made sure they suffered. Well done lads, especially Matty and Joe at the back, plus Bucko - the most cultured left-back in League 2? Into London town for me, this is a night for the liver to justify its existence...

We mustn't get carried away! After all, it's not that long ago the Shrimps fans were wetting their knickers and getting all nose bleedy after a few lucky wins against 10 men and nicking points even after some reportedly poor performances. Difference is, at that time we were generally playing well without getting the rewards we deserved!

we were overdue a good run. I am with Cashman all the way. watch the game on Tuesday if we can get a good win then it will be fortress stanley, I am bringing two extra supporters. lets hope people regain their allegiance to the club.

Not a good performance today from Stanley...a great performance. Agree with other posts, twelve outstanding players today. Really impressive that, with two new defenders, the defence looked rock solid. Was a toss up between Messrs Conneely and Kee for my MotM, but Billy's amazing goal line block in the last minute clinched it for me.
Looking forward to a rare ( for me ) home game on Tuesday and payback time.

Let's hope so but tbh can only see that happening if the run lasts through the season & we have a chance of promotion - unfortunately the people of Accrington are too fickle to keep the gates up, even if we do reach the next stage of the promised land & get a few more through the gate will they still come if we get to league 1?

next 2 games will show if gates will go up. not the most thrilling of games on paper but I predict an increase. remember a 10 per cent increase in gates is only about 150 extra and if this cannot happen people in the area should hold their heads in shame. if a miserable old tight git like me can travel 50 miles in wind rain and snow to games theres no excuse for locals. whats been on offer this season deserves much better support. the players, directors and management all deserve it.

That,s the reality at most clubs look at Crawley yesterday on my adding up 400 or more simply did,nt turn up yesterday relegated last season and bottom 2 now that,s when you really need the support but in the real world it does,nt happen, our gates will creep up I,m sure if we are were we are all season so the club just has to enjoy the better revenue,s while it can.

Got to agree Nick,and as you know i am a big fan,but Matty can play all across the back four and holding mid as well.
Young Joe surprised me tho,i knew he could play,but there's a bit of steel in him as well and came thro the first 30 minutes of Ariel bombardment with flying colours.
Acid test will be against different opponents,like quick and tricky players,but both played well
