Well done Stanley ground out the result in a difficult tie played in the final 20 mins in awful conditions in the hat for Monday,s draw home crowd poor Mr. Holt sure has a job on his hands to get people to come the team is doing it,s bit the public nah.

What a marvellous game of football in atrocious conditions. At one stage I thought we were going to blow York away but they made us work extremely hard for the win and looked a much better team than their league position would suggest. Kee, Crooks, Windass were awesome in attack with Halliwell outstanding at the back and on the overlap. An excellent goal from McConville in addition to the usual wasted chances from him but no complaints by me after a thrilling team performance. A very cheeky penalty from Joss when I was expecting him to blast it into the bottom corner.

January arrives ...
£1m for Windass
£1m for Crooks
£1m for FA Cup run

Mr Holt sells up and runs for the hills in the only recorded "man makes money from Accrington Stanley"

:)

:) Fantastic advert of cup football where both teams went for it from start to finish IMHO Crooks goal has to be one of the rds best, fantastic run and finish, Brad Halliday had one hell of a game although thought he could have done better with there goal. Wonder if we can take him on loan for the rest of the season be great if we could . Rd2 here we come :)

Let's help him then by bringing a mate next week and really getting behind Andy Holt and the team!

According to Coley in today's interview ain't nobody getting any of our lads, on the cheap or otherwise before the end of the season, good news indeed! :)

The crowd was declared as 1475 which is poor. York brought a fair few but the empty red seats at the Clayton end looked bad. A fantastic game in awful conditions. We need to do all we can to boost the crowd. I hope we can keep Brad Halliday he was MOM for me, fast and intelligent player. I wonder when we will get some decent TV coverage. That show on channel 5 is crap.

York must have provided the commentator, going berserk for their goals but hardly raising his voice for ours!
