Cambridge Utd

See Cambridge have just signed a forward from Gillingham, a midfielder from Everton, and a defender from Sheffield Utd on loan in the last two days.
Stanley must be worrying a few other managers!
If they carry on there won't be enough hooks in the home dressing room.

And just to surprise F19 will they play 6-5-2 ??.

You're surely not suggesting the ref and one linesman will be on their side, Yonmon.;)

Not really, but curious as it seems that has been known to happen now and again, wouldn't you agree ??. ;)

Every game a cup final, will be really difficult to get back up the table if we drop out the promotion spots. Need to be winning all these games against the bottom 6-8 teams

I take you forgot about the time he did a bad pass in the 2011 season when we was 4-0 up?

Re: Cambridge Utd

The lads go from strength to strength. They were staring down a barrel at HT, Cambridge winning and causing real problems at set pieces and working hard to stop us from playing. We were a little fortunate with the equaliser, their keeper obligingly dropping the ball for Davies to lash home, but the pen was stonewall after great work down the right from Pierro. Stanley were then superb, breaking at pace, and defending so well that Mooney had only one serious save to make, and that from a long-range effort. Very proud of the lads, they warmed us up on a freezing day.

They're gonna have to stock smelling salts at the club shop at this rate.
Great result, well done to all the lads, the back room staff, and all the fans who watched it.

Re: Cambridge Utd

Great result yesterday and I didn't fancy us at all .
New manager etc..,thought they may lift their game, wrong again!.
We seem to find answers when under pressure and attack teams from all areas of the pitch .
Made up for Tom Davies,I know he's been desperate to get back playing and with a few more games under his belt,he'll be back to were he was before his injury, one of our best players !!
Always been one for clean sheets, but the way we are playing, and chances being created,it's becoming less important
Feel good factor is obviously shining thro and long may it continue
