A goal for Josh at York tomorrow will do for me!
A goal for Sean at York tomorrow will do for me!

I suppose this match is a kind of a derby match. Seeing as most teams in our division are southerners.:) https://www.google.co.uk/webhp?sourc...ton+to+York%3F

Who was the last manager to guide a side to four promotions with no intermittent relegations? Has it been done before? Have to believe we're in the mix now!! Superb effort away at York, or New Lancaster as it should be called.

So please for Shay McCartan today as well. Bodes well should he ultimately end up getting more game time post January...

And to top it off Morecambe lost again. Mind the gap!!

Bring on Pompey next week - can't wait :)

What can I say that hasn't already been said. York 1 goal scored In last 2 matches and 11 conceded. Back up to 4th? with Pompey drawing plus a game in hand. All bodes well for the coming months.

Got to go to a Charity Dance Ball thingy early this evening and was under orders from her with
the long evening dress not to go to York!!!

I followed the 'Fishy' live text and also the BBC live up dates whilst watching the Davis cup over my shoulder and chatting on skype firstly to my sister in Lincoln and then my brother in the USA who was also following the match live!:hidewall:

Wow! It sounded like a resounding win for our boys and it was pleasing to see Shay get onto the score sheet too. :theband:

Games 40-46 of the 10/11 season, as you ask :D

And that was the only other time since promotion.

Re: York Match Thread!!!

Pleasure to be their today Sean McConville was unplayable first half he was excellent as was every Stanley player today, could and probaly should have been 8 goals today, Midfield controlled by the excellent Seamus Conneely Billy weighing in with a brace and Shay with the pick off the bunch and back home for 7-15 overall brilliant day.

thanks for that chimer
I have just reviewed the league in season 10/11
with 19 games played we were 18th in the league
and finished up with a +18 goal average
shame about the Shrewsbury result though

Yup - 14 points worse off than this season after 19. Mind we only lost 3 games for the rest of that season (until we got to the playoffs :(). If we do that again this year we won't need to worry about playoffs this time :D

Check YouTube in a day or two. Match highlights usually appear there (and in HD).

was a bit worried before ko as teams who get hammered usually come back strongly the next game. instead of playing a wounded animal we played a dying one. you don't often see your side win 5=1 away so lets enjoy and remember. best advert for the club all season to get the stay aways back and to wake people up that there,s something really happening up at the crown.

My commiserations John !!.... Although York had that 'Conference bound' look about them
The REDS again gave us an entertaining glimpse of the talent, determination, and confidence,
the like of which we haven't seen until this season !...AND which for the Fans promises so much more to come !!.
Everyone else has done an analysis, and F19 had to work !, so I miss his expert take on the match !. So I'll not give mine , or maybe I will ?...No I won't!..

Regards !.

A VPN tunnel takes care of that! They're not expensive. Some three pounds a month. Works from Spain. Should work from your shores as well.
