Anyone remember
 

Just a little bit of interest to other Stanley fans. In the programme on Tuesday night it mentioned that only 2 players have played for both Stanley and Carlisle, John Durnin and Wayne Dowell. For anyone interested, Wayne is now a firefighter with Lancs Fire and Rescue and based at Burnley Fire Station. How do I know this, coz he is on the same Fire Safety course I am at this time. He has now retired from the game due to injuries, but is still interested to hear how Accy are doing. I did try and get him to come to the game on Tuesday, but he had other engagements unfortunately.
Nice to hear that one of our own is now doing a worthwhile service though.
