For Those Going to Wimbledon by Train

There are no trains to Norbiton (nearest station to the ground) due to engineering works and no fast trains from Waterloo to Kingston. You will need to give yourself a good hour and a quarter to get from Waterloo to the ground.
Trains from Waterloo leave at 03 & 33 minutes past the hour and take 45 minutes to get to Kingston. From Kingston station it is about 30 minutes walk or there is the 131 bus from stop A2 on Cromwell Road near Kingston station. Though sometimes it is almost as quick to walk.

Trains not an option for me, Snarl, but thanks for the heads-up from those who may need to rely on them.

Thanks, Snarl. The National Rail website says there is a bus replacement from Kingston to Norbiton.

It's easier to get the 131 and it stops outside the ground. Same in reverse on the way back after the game. If your ticket to London includes a travel card that works with the bus.

That's what I did last year plus I dis Euston to Vauxhall and caught the train to Kingston there. I was lucky and made a quick connection but it won't be any worse than going to Waterloo.

That shouldn't affect you though because you will probably go via Twickenham

Correct. Change at Reading and Twickenham.
