Pompey not to down hearted thread

Pompey did a good number on us again tonight. Got goals relatively early, used there wide players well and pressurised forcing errors by us and opportunities to them. A fair few of our players had off nights which compounded the situation. Remember though one bad game should not spoil the points we have achieved so far. As coley likes to say don't let one defeat become 2.

Don't worry. We'll be back at the races on Saturday. The reason we lost is cos some ****** was sat in my lucky seat. I will not let this happen Saturday. Games lost since I adopted my lucky seat = zero.

Now it doesn't have the luck power of Loweiy's lucky bus, but is somewhere between a diamond encrusted four leaf clover and a trodden down muddy, copper old horse shoe. So get your happy faces on peeps, Stanley will not lose on Saturday

i wouldn't be too down hearted by one result but the form table makes more worrying reading- 5 points from 15 our worst run of the season.

On last nights evidence I would say Portsmouth will deservedly get one of the either Oxford or Plymouths spots whears we'll have a job on to keep in the play offs.

Squad is becomming to come up short with little (effective) attacking options if Piero or McConville are not having any joy on the wings. Little creativity form Midfield (I doubt Crooks would have gone to Rangers on the showing of the last 6 games).

Kee seems isolated up front with little support from McCarten.

Not wishing to be too critical cos the side has come on so much in 12months but maybe we've reached our limit.

Providing they keep it simple and not try to be too fancy as Crooks and McConville have been of late and then caught on the ball and promptly lose it.
