Underestimation can be a great asset. Means the only pressure on our players is coming from the management and themselves.

not sure its jealous more common logic, we have no right to be up there,in the eyes of many others, lifes like that, no one seems to be saying owt nasty, i think they will be well shocked, come end of season.:);)

On paper I think Plymouth & Portsmouth have the more difficult run-in. Each game left is a potential bananaskin and referees & their red cards could cause upsets. Singlemindedness needed and the only red mist on show is the Stanleyboys swallowing all opposition. Not surprised Oxford & Bristol forums label us as the also-rans - perhaps Coley ought to pin their opinions to the dressing room door.

With the spirit our lads have shown this season to me it dont really matter a stuff what anyone says or does?

I do agree with what fans are saying on the other forums, there are no gimmees in the run in, even for those teams who have what it seems is the easier run in. I do think teams like Hartlepool will have a big say in who goes up automatically and who goes into the play offs as they play 4 out of the top 6 in the run in, including us. They are on a good run at the moment, so who knows where it will go. All we, as supporters can do is back the team and the management to the hilt on the run in and hopefully, this team will achieve what no other Stanley team has done (in the league) and that is to be promoted out of the bottom tier of the football league.

I think we should all go and applaud them on an outstanding achievement. To win promotion with such low average attendances and low playing budget is something we should applaud. Moreover, taking Mark Hughes and letting him demonstrate his true ability in a good team just shows how poor and badly mismanaged we were. I'd love for us to be a bit more like Accy, fair play to them. If they've clinched promotion, I hope we form a guard of honour when they walk out. It would be a fitting recognition of their achievement.
