Wycombe Away, Coach Sponsors!
 

Due to our position in the league this could be a massive game in the clubs histor, so I'm looking for businesses or people who would like to sponsor a coach for our last away game at Wycombe on 30 April!

As I know purse strings are tight, There could be a possibility of a few companies donating towards one coach rather than covering full cost of one coach!

The Accrington Observer have run an article on this in this weeks paper and are hoping to do a follow up story with the names of sponsors in the following weeks paper (Free advertising for you)

To offer clarification for all, here is it how it stands currently.


The current level of sponsorship has allowed us to make Wycombe travel HALF PRICE.
WYCOMBE AWAY WILL BE CHEAP TRAVEL.

JUST £10 PER PERSON TO GET TO WYCOMBE.

To justify,

Unfortunately, the politics/fairness involved in allowing 'x' amount of people on coaches for free and then telling other people wanting to go the coaches are full is not an image we believe fits well with the way Accrington Stanley do things. Running coaches purely on funding also has its limits, only so many coaches can be booked. Of course, if we are inundated with a lot more sponsorship this could change the goalposts!

With this approach, we can reward those that have travelled all season with cheaper travel and hopefully entice new travellers with a price that doesnt cost too much!


TWO COACHES ARE BOOKED (using the funding and capacity of £10 per person)

With more funding and more people booking on will hopefully be in a position to book a 3rd coach.

I'm sure, and hope, it can be sorted out once this weekend games are passed but my brother has just tried to book tickets in the away end at Wycombe.

Impossible to do online, so he phoned to be told that they can't do it either, that Stanley have been allocated only! :eek::) 300 tickets but they've not yet arrived at Livingstone Road.

I sincerely hope Stanley are not being restricted to 300 as there could be some disgruntled fans. 4 coaches could bring c.200, plus the usual southern softies and exiles (c.75) could easily be swelled.

Hope Mr.T, when he gets time to think about the Wycombe game, can reassure we exiles that there won't be problems getting in. It seems Wycombe have reverted to putting away fans behind one goal and, as I recall, that stand houses around 1,800. So I'm hoping the massed ranks of Stanley fans intending to go to Wycombe will get in and will have one less thing to worry about.

Oh Eck!! Had looked myself to see if tickets need to be bought ahead of the game - no mention of it on Wycombe's website or Football Ground guide so presumed there wouldn't be a problem paying on the day, probably there usually isn't & they're not used to us travelling in such numbers - needs clarification though like you say Exile

You could not buy tickets in advance last season and barely 30 turned up.

There is room to house all Stanley fans that turned up for the home game v Morecambe, it will be the same end as normal with basic kiosk (no concourse so no alcohol) and toilet facilities so no point getting to the ground early.

In Marlow Bottom, 10 minute drive or 20 minutes on bus from Wycombe the Rebellion Brewery shop let's you pull yourself a couple of pints for free. They are a bit lenient on the two pint rule sometimes and you can always drink the missus's quota. They do food as well but that ain't free.

I will "double check" on Monday; but have twice been told we've been allocated the stand behind the goal that holds 1800. Wycombe say they have no plans to reduce this in anyway.

We have received an initial allocation of 200 tickets and I've asked for more.

You can pay on the day but it's £2 more.

I will ask again IF the "exiles" can purchase directly from Wycombe but at present they are saying no as they expect to be busy as it's their last home game.

Just spoke to Dave Burgess...

To all those going Wycombe who haven't already bought a Season Ticket or Loyalty Card, The Club have agreed to extend the Early Bird season ticket offer for another week, until the Stevenage game as a thank you to the fans!

I will have some application forms that i will be giving out for anyone interested who haven't already bought one!

Also you can now pay on card but just confirming the ways around this...will let you know by Saturday!

On the last couple of posts there were phone numbers being quoted. This is against AccyWeb's rules.

Whilst we "run out" ( not sold out) of tickets at present a further allocation is hopefully on the carrier piegeon north.

With regards to the phone numbers on Accy Web; I was previuosly critised for putting on another club's ticket office number. Senior Mods told me it isn't allowed!!

Anybody going to Wycombe and wanting to buy a season ticket on credit card, I have a phone number for you to contact please message me for the phone number...The early bird deal is open until 2nd May in office hours at the club or Dave Burgess will be in The Crown from 6-8pm on Tuesday night if you want to pop in then for Cash, Cheque payment!

Please ask people who are doing the head count for season ticket/loyalty card application forms on the coaches and leave the application forms at The Crown!

Coach List with all names will be published on Friday evening. Coaches will depart at 08.30am from the ground. The crown pub will be open at 07.15am for brekkie butties and a drink. All travelling supported must pay for travel and then get a coach ticket from a number of desks were setting up on the day,drivers will not let passengers on without the tickets. To remind, no alcohol & no smoking on all coaches.

My fault, miscommunication!

If you fill an Season Ticket form in and leave it at The Crown on Saturday night the deal will be extended until Tuesday, payment can be made at the club or Dave Burgess will be in The Crown from 6pm-8pm on Tuesday night!

Tomorrow there will be two coach ticket desks. One stationed at the Crown from 07.15am and the other on Livingstone road where the coaches will pick up from. All passengers must visit one of the desk to pay for the seat and get a coach ticket (like below) without a ticket you will not be allowed on coaches

Seeing you couldn't bother to respond, which dont surprise me at all, having checked out with the senior admin, there was nothing wrong at all with putting the away ticket office number, so why you removed it is anyones guess.:rolleyes:
