Premiership priority - again!
I thought all next season's fixtures were released at the same time, got a note in my diary for next Wednesday, 22nd June.
Then caught a glimpse of the Telegraph website announcing Burnley's opening fixtures & got a little excited thinking the announcement had been brought forward . . . . . . . . . but, has it heck - Premiership only fixture today apparently :( I know it's only a week & yes, the Euros are in full swing but it's not the same & at least once the fixture are out the plans for next season's travels can start - am I missing Stanley? Too right I am! |
Re: Premiership priority - again!
Why not?they are far more important than clubs like Stanley:rolleyes:

Re: Premiership priority - again!
The only amusing thing about the me-dja's total obsession with the Premiership is that, apparently, some foreign owners didn't even realise their club could be relegated from it.

Re: Premiership priority - again!
With Burnley being at home on 13th August and our season starting the weekend before I expect us to be at home on the opening game.

Re: Premiership priority - again!
Aren't the fixtures always released starting from the top down? Premiership first, then League on 22 June, Conference on 6 July, Northern Premier 'around 15 July' and so on. It makes sense with the FA still shuffling clubs like Cinderford, Evesham, Stamford and Corby between leagues.
