I would have thought Blackpool home and/or away would have been better Xmas/New Year fixtures and not Grimsby.

Blackpool is good for the train, which won't run Boxing Day and NYE, where as Cleethorpes is probably only good for car/coach anyway.

Blackpool at the business end of the season when at least one of us will have something to play for, in the Easter sunshine, when the donkeys are open again. Cracking date

Donny at home first game, they'll bring loads with it being first up. Cracking opener.

happy with that lot really.

would like to have gone to grimsby earlier or later in the season as boxing day may have everything shut in cleethorpes due to christmas and will miss my fish and chips. plus when will we ever play pools on saturday again.

Look on the bright side - if we have a winter like the last one, the Boxing Day fixture could be postponed & we could play 'em in April :)

Don't joke about it, the EFL might think it's a good idea and let their academy team in.

Only slightly more bonkers than their latest plan :D

I have to say there are some very tough games in there, I hope the new squad are up to the challenge. If all goes well we may make the play offs if we are lucky. I wish I could be more optimistic but with the quality of player we have let go we will struggle to replace some of the quality.

we don,t know what the final squad will be like at the moment. in the goalkeeping department i think there is an improvement on last season and the new lads who have signed does anyone on here know how good or bad they are yet. as i,ve said before no one knew of lads like matty pearson but they,ve proved themselves ok. i for one am optimistic at this moment and i think the next few weeks could be very interesting in a positive way.
