Unless it is a mistake - would not have thought so - 6 does not have a name against it...

22 is missing also, but is that not Buxtons number from last season?

He is on the pictures though Cashy, but there were 3 on last season that did not sign...

One thing to remember mate, players (and agents) play hardball for as long as they can ;)

Maybe due to his injuries history, he's staying on non contract terms - pay as you play kinda deal? He was at Halifax on Saturday & on team photo so would bet he's staying put

I've only just noticed this but smudgie's a dead ringer for Adam Buxton. Perhaps it's him who was at Halifax and who appears in the team photo??;)

Given his injury record, if he signed on a pay as you play basis, the lad would have to be on Premier League wages or he'd starve.

Every year smudgie seems to have a player on his profile who leaves us, maybe this year will be different

If Bucko's no 22 is vacant at this point I am afraid it does not bode well, The pre season was dreadful. It does seem that the new players are not quite as good as those who have left. I just hope it does get better.

Looking at the photo, in particular, comparing the standing figures with Chapman, Buxton and Pearson it looks like we could have signed a 'bit of height' in some of the new boys!:mosher:
Anybody think that we can read anything into the allocation of the 'lower' squad numbers? Perhaps with the exception of Seamus...28 and Billy...29?:D

wait until we,ve played at least half a dozen games to see what will happen. pre season games don,t matter results wise but we,ve probebly signed some good and not so good players. it happens with all clubs new signings even morecambe.
