Think its yer tinted glasses Di, Me n the late Geoff Bannister were convinced he was a bit past his best then, so were others we spoke to.

That's football - all about opinions, but nothing could shake mine on Paul Mullin :)

Im sure I remember tales of Margate (away at Dover!) on a Tuesday or Friday night in the FA Trophy a while back?! Im sure Kipax would be able to tell us.

There was that weekend in 2003 when we drew 2-2 at Droylsden on the Saturday and beat Whitby away 3-0 on the Sunday...

. . . . When Jonathan Smith got k.o'd during the Droylsden game & still turned up at Whitby with his head bandaged & black eyes to support the lads & afterwards our fans took over Whitby's clubhouse to celebrate the win & Rory went round almost every one of us thanking us for travelling, good times :D

As this will be our fourth venture into foreign battlefields we have presumptuously decided we have now graduated from glory hunters to die hard fans (apprentice grade 1).

We are going via train. £12 each return, and with it being a "trendy" city it means we can both fill our boots in Brewdog and other hipster hangouts before heading to the County Ground. And then celebrate like a pair of giddy p*ssheads afterwards.

So, what's it like? I've run past it once, on a quiet evening, but I imagine it will be a different place on Saturday with the massed ranks of the Stanley boys making all the noise and the stadium rocking to its very foundations when Super Bill stuffs another one in the onion bag?

I've started ticking the days off on the kitchen calendar - Saturday just can't come quickly enough.

Mate as a citizen of the fine city of Nottingham would wholeheartedly recommend The Vat and Fiddle virtually opposite the station. Fine selection of own brewed and award winning real ales and not full of dickheads, we'll be in there tomorrow!

Was stood about 6 foot away from Smith when he got whacked by the keeper, made a hell of a crunch and spat a tooth out. When he came to, he kept saying to the Physio 'I'm staying on, not going to lose my place in the team'.

Legend.

Nige B - just looked up that boozer and looks good. Just need to interest Er Indoors in a match day BBQ.

Notts poor at the back, Stanley causing them problems. Missed a golden chance at the back stick for 2-0, hope we don't regret that.
