Tremendous result for Stanley today. Feared the worst after Colchester scored so early and that it would be "after the Lord Mayor's show", but the team really excelled themselves to come away with three points. Pleased Rommy got his goal after Wednesday night. Well done to the squad and management.

we consistantly surprise me in a good way. after wednesday i feared the worse but we keep overcoming everything throwed at us and even a tap in in the goal area to win it and not to rely on another goal of the season contender. roll on tuesday and hope the stags are concentrating on the rutting season.

Don't think anyone was against the signing as such, I think most of us have high regard for Rommy but some did have concerns as to his fitness as he hadn't had much game time on his travels.
Rommy himself has said that he wasn't fully fit when he came but we've all seen how his hard work in getting himself fit has paid off & I'm so glad he signed a new contract with us

As I have said in the past....Rommy Boco is the epitomy of what an honest football professional should be !... keen, enthusiastic, a good team man, approachable, a great role model for younger players, and always willing to give 100 % to the cause !.
If this sounds like I am seeking to be his No.1 Fan, then so be it !.
Hope that he stays fit, and stays at our Club..we need him !.

Boca changed the game yesterday with an an outstanding piece of football
Coleys tactics spot on at one all, very positive and went for win
I think all the massive games John and Jimmy have been involved in ie play offs, got to win that game , got to win this game, we have not delivered and just pulled up short
But having witnessed in the last 2 away games, i think now we are ready to win the league
With Mr Holts backing and John and Jimmys experience both in success and failure we could take the league by the scruff of the neck, get behind the lads tuesday , we win we will shoot up there

You have been warned, by the way what are the odds? To win the league of course

Have a great day

I reckon the fact we were able to keep the lads down yon after weds night, had a bearing on those 3 pts? The hammers aint playing whilst 4-00 today and they were at home.
