Billy kee
Pre match reports say we had a fully fit squad yet bully was nowhere to be seen again, is there some injury they're not telling us about or is there some other reason
|
Re: Billy kee
no idea, we was wondering why he was not playing or at least on the bench.
|
Re: Billy kee
Wasn't even warming up before the game
|
Re: Billy kee
Apparently it was on radio lancs before the game that Billy was being assessed for some sort of head injury - didn't hear it personally, got that info second hand from my mum so don't know any more details
|
Re: Billy kee
He wasn't even on the bench last week either was he? Long assessment this
|
Re: Billy kee
Billy was on the bench for the Cheltenham game last week
|
Re: Billy kee
The reason we signed GTF is because Billy picked a knock up at Cambridge I think.
|
Re: Billy kee
Yeah, I think I remember reading that too Baldy - won't do Billy any harm to have a bit of a rest, he gets a battering on a regular basis

thats only if they are played together in the side. |
Re: Billy kee
Terry Gornell isn't good enough, fact. Totally ineffective week after week but he continues to be picked. He's scored 4 goals in 10 games so far this season, 2 of them in the league.
Its bleedin' obvious we need to look at other options. |

Terry plays a lot better when you play it into his feet to hold it up, On Saturday he won little in the air! Don't forget McCartan is getting back to full fitness to give us another option! |
Re: Billy kee
I honestly think McArten will score more in half a season, than Terry will in a full un, but shay needs a big lad up wi him just like Billy does.
|
Re: Billy kee
any news on billy kee. things seem to have gone quiet on him recently. would love to see a fit billy back sooner than later.
|
Re: Billy kee
I hope Billy is ok and has not suffered any lasting damage with a head injury. Better safe than sorry.
|
Re: Billy kee
Back in training today
|
Re: Billy kee
Thats great news, be a while though before hes match fit i think.
|
Re: Billy kee
How long until he's a better option than Terry?
|
Re: Billy kee
As long as it takes for him to be fit enough to take the hammering he seems to get in every match. :(

Re: Billy kee
Cracking news on Billy, be good to have him back on the pitch
|
Re: Billy kee
Announced that Billy is back in contention for Saturday, so is Shay!
Let's get our best team on the pitch and climb this league properly! |
Re: Billy kee
Its not just a case of our best team, its use the best tactics, after all we are the HOME side imho.

Re: Billy kee
Is it normal to be rather in the dark with regard to player injuries? I know the Don is out for a couple more weeks because I asked him (did I tell you about that?) but what of Vyner or Eagles for example? O'Sullivan mentioned on Twitter where he was upto. Billy's absence has seemed clouded in mystery at times.
It's not a criticism of the club, by the way. I just wondered whether it was normal. |
Re: Billy kee
Not sure LordD, but seems the norm wi stanley.
|
Re: Billy kee
B@llucks. Just read the Stanley site and it says the Don is out til mid December.
|
Re: Billy kee
Perhaps someones been reading here? Billys been out a fair while and only just a mention? So has the don come to think of it.
|
Re: Billy kee
Good news on Billy & Shay :) Hopefully the other absentees will be back soon too, fingers crossed
|
Re: Billy kee
Chris Eagles has been away due to a family issue. Hopefully back soon. Vyner is out injured for another couple of weeks and the lad from West Brom has returned to his parent club. Read this on Fishy on thread entitled Shay boost for Coley
