This season is turning into a nightmare needs turning soon or could be Andy Holts first big decision on the managers department. We need to find some confidence from somewhere and also someone to start scoring cup runs are all well and good but league status is a must.

Am I the only one beginning to consider the fact that THIS Stanley team are not quite good enough for League football ?. Or am I,as so often, somewhat disillusioned ?.

League table never lies mate.

In other years we could rely on loan deals out of the window to save us, now we can't

From a football point of view,we are definitely a top ten team, its scoring goals that is the Achilles heel and we are not being rewarded with points that the performances deserved.
Trying to be positive, when Stevenage went up,I am sure they were near the bottom at Xmas!!!
Just need to turn the tide

How much are the likes of Taylor Fletcher and Eagles being paid to train and not much else baffling if there here to just pick a wage up get rid and bring some young eager talent in the January window.

Not that easy Andy,Halifax's forward is getting three times what Acci's highest earner gets !!

When we reached the play offs in 2011 we'd had an, at best, mediocre start & were 18th in February - we then had an amazing run & the rest is history, just saying anything can & does happen in football

I think that's a little pessimistic Yonmon but at the moment we are on the wrong end of some very fine margins. Orient today hardly had a shot on target, whether against 11 or 10. They managed a spawny goal and then survived a goalmouth scramble where we were desperately unlucky not to score. Could have easily held out for a point otherwise. Best to keep our heads rather than start to speculate about misfortunes ahead. We need to offer more threat up front, no question, but Coley has always found the solution from within and we should give him some trust that he can turn this around.

I think the players you mention along with some others are not in favour and I think that is a management weakness we have discussed previously. The experience these players have should be passing on to others in the team and you can only do that properly if they are playing regularly. Maybe they have mentioned the tactics to the manager????

Get a grip. I'll run round Accy market naked if we don't finish in the top 7. Still a class team (including Sean) with a great manager. All teams have ****e runs. This is just a ****e run.
