Crewe tomorrow

Just a heads up, if anyone is planning to go by train tomorrow it's a bit pricey to book straight through but works out almost a tenner cheaper if you split your journey into 2 bookings - Accrington to Warrington & Warrington to Crewe, bonkers really as it's the same journey & still only one change at Preston

Re: Crewe tomorrow

lost it with train companies years ago. last form of transport i,ll use now because of stuff like that. peugeot 309 for me.

Re: Crewe tomorrow

Don't mind going by train, but yeah their crazy pricing is bizarre - makes it all the sweeter if you can find a way of doing the same journey cheaper, makes you feel like you've won a little battle :)

That's our most popular ticket during the Festive Season, Sir

Think it would be £6.70 return each for me and Er Indoors from Manchester to Crewe tomorrow (on our "together forever" railcard). It's a 40 min journey.
Isn't there some cheap express bus from Accy to the metropolis that combined might make it the dream ticket?

Brekkie in Accy
liquid Lunch in Manc
3 points and a few cans on the Virgin Pendalino home?

Google X41 from Accy or X43 from Rawtenstall, free with a bus pass!

Best team by a bit 2 great saves from Chapman.

Re: Crewe tomorrow

Finished the Liver Birds Marathon, had a migraine and downed some soup, then dashed off to Crewe. Er Indoors drove whilst I struggled to get my clothes on over the top of my running gear. Limped in the ground at 3:10pm....and was thankfully there to witness a miracle.

Reckon Chapman nicks MOTM. Kee had a decent game. Vyner did well despite his usually poor distribution. Overall we weren't great - thankfully Crewe are a poor team - but who cares.

Crowd were in fine voice - apart from that awful "over your shoulder" song. One fan shouted out his undying love for McConville. Players looked absolutely elated at the end.

Been a very long, tiring day. Hopefully the adrenaline rush of those last 5 mins and some strong ale will keep me going beyond midnight as I feel a celebration is in order?

Happy new year!

Probably their worse performance in the last 10 and home with the points.
For once their goalkeeper ***** up and ours makes the saves when needed.

Are you talking about the Legend, or Macca??? ;)

:) :) :)

It's no coincidence - but the man returning was Donacien. Grew in confidence the longer the game went.
Vyner had a nightmare.

3 points are 3 points. won,t be buying the match video though but rather have that than loosing 4/3 in a cracking match.

Re: Crewe tomorrow

Your Lordship Didsbury,
I fear the run affected you more than you think. Vyner ? The left winger tore him to shreds first half too fast too skilful. You only had to see the reaction of the captain when he allowed the winger to dance his way around him on the by line to know the kid was having a hard time.

Great cross from the corner for Billy to score...Anyone know who it was who got the assist?

AccyMad 01-01-2017 19:01

Re: Crewe tomorrow

Not sure, think it was the one who can't get his crosses past the first man
