Pie inflation happens a lot at Steve Evan's clubs.
Couldn't say why.

Fleetwood, with a population of around 25,000, can claim that.

fleetwood may have a low population but have been lucky in their rise has coincided with the fall of their near neighbour blackpool. i know things are not going too well at blackburn but if burnley were in free fall i,m sure our attendances would be a lot higher. its easy to support fleetwood at the moment but if the wheels start coming off it could be a different story.

Dave Burgess just tweeted prices will be announced in "Next few days, Almost sorted"

Suppose "next few days" is better than "next week"

This software is inexpensive and should have been a priority before now.

You mention this a lot - can you provide quotes for what software you think is being used / going to be used / who your expertise would suggest the club to use?

My experience travelling to away games is that this isn't particularly expensive, especially if you get the pie and a pint for a fiver deal the club currently does. Do you have any experiences of other league grounds that have more affordable deals? Genuine question, not having a go, I just may not have been to the grounds that have. £2 for pie and peas surely isn't viable at our level - it wouldn't leave much room for profit?

It feels to me that you want a platinum football league experience for the price of the Unibond days. Times have moved on - I think there needs to be an element of realism as to what our limits are, not to mention that the cost of living has increased substantially over the last decade or so - and whilst that should be a reason to offer value to the fans, the club surely also has to work within those restraints?

Just my thoughts.

It seems I am going over old ground so I will simply keep out it.

But by some way still the smallest borough I'd imagine.

Also Fleetwood is not comparable to us and the likes of Morecambe. Artificially inflated league position due to a sugar daddy in Mr Pilley. :)

Also, having been everywhere in this division bar Blackpool and Donny, I can say our catering prices are more than reasonable. Fiver for a pie and a pint. An actual pint. As opposed to the norm of £3.50 plus for a tiny bottle of ale and £3 average pie cost.

That can be applied to just about half the Football League and many in the Conference pyramids.
Is not Andy Holt a sugar daddy? A very welcome and sensible one, but how long would the club survive without his 'sugar'?
