Don't want to get tetchy on what has turned into an amusing thread but Clark 6 and didn't affect the game ?
I think it must be me who's got a different view of football.
He was unlucky not to score on 15 minutes and was part of a lot of the best build up work first half.
Second half he had to drop deeper and deeper and ended up playing full back. Often he was left exposed by Rodgers with two on one, and against their fastest man. He coped admirably in a position he's never played before.
Anyone who can give any outfielder other than Beckles less than 8 out of 10 Saturday for effort alone I do not understand.

for me mccarten was far below 8/10. when he came off the only thing dirty on him was his knees with the constant james grey impersonations. missed a sitter and for me a player who always does better coming off the bench than he does when he starts the game. apart from the free kicks it would be interesting too see the stats of his number of goals he has scored when he comes off the bench against those he,s scored when he starts a game.

I really would like to know the thought process behind Shay herring the nod over Romy. I'm guessing that Coley sees Shay as someone who at least runs and troubles defences even if he's not bagging goals? Does he create worry and space for others as a result?

Romy is a far better player and we keep the ball more with him in the team, but is that at the cost of being toothless?

I'm disappointed but not surprised. The club have to weigh up the 'authorities' over-ruling one of their refs against the club twice ( it was him at Hartlepool, wasn't it?) in one season and (as I understand it) an increased ban if they lose an appeal.

Seems that I just enjoy writing a lengthy dissertation now and again and this opportunity presented itself ! ...It also seems in the newcomer to our Forum that he, or she ?, is seeking to plagiarise the posting style particular to you and Lord Stiffupperlip !.... if this is so then it is truly despicable !.
To return to the thread, I have been hors de combat lately and thus have missed a game or two, and am unable to make accurate comment about the current state of our team and it's players, therefore do keep on passing your information.I'll read it alongside that of Cashy and try to make some sense of it all !.

was surprised by the appeal for matty pearsons red card so probebly a bit to do about that as we might give an impression we,re going to appeal for everything because of our league position. should question the appointment of richard clarke at stanley games though.

Merely read and attempt to understand the second sentence of my previous post !...then hopefully in understanding this you might direct your thoughts and opinions towards our Club, it's players , and all things Stanley !...that is the purpose of this Forum !. as other users will verify !.

No more to be said, and as this thread appears to have outlived it's usefulness perhaps MrT in agreement might want to bring it to an end ?
