AccyMad’s Heart Stretches Out The Lead
A Stanley win away against second place Argyle was, amazingly, the most popular choice of result for Saturday’s game . 11 in favour, with 7 against and 10 undecideds on the fence. What are we on, people ? A Stanley win away against second place Argyle was, even more amazingly, the actual result for Saturday’s game :hothothot. What are they on, people ? Of the 11, 3 were spot-on :), with 5 points taking Tom D up from 18th to 15th, Cashman from 12th to 7th, and AccyMad into a sizable-looking 6 point lead at the top , with Mab’s simple 3 points squeezing him past Kiwi John into 2nd place. DaveinGermany was the only player taking 4 points, not producing any improvement in position (still 6th) but reducing the points gap to the podium places. Cashy’s move into the Top Ten came at Div3North’s expense :(. Little else to report. So roll on the Alex, but not until Saturday. Do you realise we’ve played on 6 of the last 7 Tuesdays? And some people were complaining the boys weren’t fit enough? This one ought to be comparatively easy, which after a good away win is usually the cue for a good crowd :) and a shocking result :o. And the bubble must burst some time ……. but not yet! :dancedog: On Stanley On!! |
