My comments on Cooper are not based on just Saturday. Did you go to the Crewe game away ? |

Re: Crewe
Very encouraging to hear about Matty P's improvement in the middle of the park. (I thought he was pants in previous games - and delighted that I've been proved wrong). We now have an embarrassment of riches there as well as defence (Brown's discipline is shocking and it has cost us points but he's a good un at what he does imo). So, perm any two from four in centre midfield.
The defence is fab - reports of Beckles demise are ridiculously premature, however he played v Crewe. He's a thoroughbred. Hughes is a rock, Rogers and the Don Uber dependable. Now all it takes is for Super Billy to recapture the "super" with respect to stuffing that ball in the onion bag and we are laughing. Ps, I spent an hour on the bog reading the Sean McConville thread this morning. All the way back to 2011. A reet hoot. Please can someone print and send it to Penguin .... I believe it could attain "classic" status. |

Re: Crewe
I've no idea what Hull's plans for the lad are or how long he's contracted to them for, but we definitely signed him on loan till the end of the season & I doubt, even if he was released then that we'd be able to afford him
