Managerial roundabout

Grimsby have sacked their manager, they had a good win at Blackpool on Saturday & are midway in the table on their first season back in the league, what do they want - blood!?

Player unrest, similar to the Leicester/ranieri situation

Back to hoof football for them then if it happens, reading their message board there's a mixed reaction to him coming back

how many different clubs has slade actually managed. he,s one that seems to get the sack regularly and then lands another job. wouldn,t want him anywhere near the wham if coley left.

He's certainly been around a bit & just been sacked by Coventry -I remember him being in charge at Scarborough in our conference days, think he went to Grimsby from there & then Yeovil maybe?

Morecambe played Scarborough at Christie Park in the Conference. They had been time-wasting with the score 1-1 and then we got an injury time winner. As Slade went down the tunnel I told him they were a bunch of time-wasting cheats. He told me to F*** Off so I have watched his career with interest since then !

Barnet now sacked Nugent after only 11 games in charge.

Who is doing the short listing/interviews for these jobs?!?

If anyone saw Jeff Stelling's rant on Sky sports news on Saturday after Hartlepool were beaten by Barnet, looks like someone was listening - Dave Jones has 'left by mutual consent'

Stelling is the club president.
Reckon he carries enough sway.
Basically he said Jones or me.

does anyone think they will survive?

I can see newport beating notts county at home last game of the season.

Re: Managerial roundabout

stelling also resigned as club presidant before jones and co got their reward. team been took over by 3 senior players and someone else still on the staff. the local paper isn,t too confident on survival and a couple of fans i spoke too last week asked me where guiseley was. fans also want a meeting with stelling wanting him to change his mind.
