Transfers ?
Is Fearsome Pearson leaving.
|
Re: Transfers ?
Be surprised if he doesn't - but deal has to be right for the club.
|
Re: Transfers ?
I think we start a new thread with 'official gossip' in regards Pearson, just to ramp up his price.
Jimmy Ryan to Real Zaragoza anybody? |
Re: Transfers ?
Pearson wanted by Colchester United
|
Re: Transfers ?
Pearson won't go to Colchester. If anything I think a championship club will come calling.
|
Re: Transfers ?
Would be surprised if Pompey aren't interested.
|
Re: Transfers ?
I don't know about transfers as we don't seem to use the good players we have on the bench week in week out. I would struggle to stay at a club that didn't give you a fair go. we have two players from the academy from last year and never kicked a ball in anger in the first team. Why they were not put out on loan to another club is a question to be answered. I hope we can sign players like Harvey Rodgers and a couple of others. Edwards has never had a run in the team to speak off but has done well when he was called on. We need to get a strong team together and some strong friendlies to get us in shape. we did suffer through the lack of quality opposition and no home games. Next season is the one. we will make it.

Re: Transfers ?
No chance with Rodgers mate.
He can have his pick of at least three Championship clubs - or may even stay at Hull. |
Re: Transfers ?
Pearson has been tracked by far better clubs than Colchester.

Over the years however the players who can't get a game for us tend to drop a league or two when they do leave. Not many league teams want to sign someone "who can't even get a game for Accrington Stanley". |

'I would say that used to be the case but we all know we have players who are more than capable holding down a place in the first team if they are given a decent chance.'
Who are you thinking of? Only one that springs to my mind is Edwards. |
Re: Transfers ?
Just noticed Peter Murphys contract at Morecambe is up this summer!
Would you like to see him return? |
Re: Transfers ?
Please...please...take him back.....!!!!!!!
|
Re: Transfers ?
How quickly football fans turn fickle, I remember Morecambe fans positively preening when Murph signed in summer 2015 - the horrendous catalogue of injuries he's had are hardly his fault

No I'm not.

Re: Transfers ?
If Hull manage to avoid relegation from the Premiership, they may be more inclined to allow Harvey another season on loan at the Wham.
Since his first appearance he's developed into a invaluable asset, due in no small part to JC's confidence in giving him a regular place in the team. Don't know if Harvey ever visits our forum, but if he does I would say this; 'Harvey, whatever your future holds we wish you success. But please know that you'll never be more admired or appreciated than you are here at Accrington Stanley. If you stay with us, I'm sure the Clayton End will be resounding to 'Super Harvey Rodgers' next season. |
Re: Transfers ?
most improved play in the side for me.

Coleman expects to keep majority or squad
|
Re: Transfers ?
Most improved? He was absolutely magic on his debut.
|
Re: Transfers ?
ST06
Rodgers is not in his squad. He belongs to Hull City. Lord Love He's good enough for the championship plus why would he come back here and earn 30% of what he can get elsewhere and in a higher league ? |
Re: Transfers ?
Anybody got a list of players who are on what deals?
|
Re: Transfers ?
Coleman speaking to all players individually today and tomorrow so retained list should be out pretty quick.
Interesting he's done it before last game of the season. |

The only difference is a club higher up the ladder would pay Hull a higher percentage of that wage now some clubs put that at the top of the list whereas others are more interested that their player fully integrates into a squad and plays the maximum number of games in a competitive environment and on that basis i would say in Rodgers case his loan will be viewed as a success and therefore no reason why they wouldnt repeat it If you want an example of exactly the Rodgers situation look at the lad Gillesphry who on loan at Carlisle from Newcastle for a second season. |

Re: Transfers ?
Northern Soul,
He will move permanently and will earn more than his current contract at Hull. I can't see him being on loan anywhere. |

Re: Transfers ?
Well someone could be getting a bargain, Harvey's out of contract this summer & according to reports is likely to leave Hull on a free transfer
|
Re: Transfers ?
Will Akinfenwa be approaching the club again, or is he sick of us turning him down?

Re: Transfers ?
Edwards is one, Hewit from Burnley is another, Sadly John Coleman was so reluctant to change what he thought was his best eleven has kept players on the bench that should have had more of a chance on the pitch.
