Chesterfield FC

Yesterday the out out statement urging people to buy season tickets so that they can purchase players, can see them struggling this year

Re: Chesterfield FC

Ridiculous statement.
They've already made three good signings - Anyon, Wiseman and Chris O'Grady - who at this level is the sort of centre forward this club needs.
Also got themselves a good manager in Caldwell.

Re: Chesterfield FC

Brewster from Everton is also a shrewd signing. 19 year old with a future that's for sure.

Chesterfield secure signing of highly experienced striker - Derbyshire Times

It was mentioned after all them signings, anyone and O'grady in my eyes are over rated, Caldwell isn't that good of a manager either

Re: Chesterfield FC

Suggest you wait and see how the season goes before saying they are strugglers.
Two league one play off finalists and a centre forward who will score at this level.
I assume you meant to say Anyon.
Is he better than what we've got ?

The last time I looked this was an Accrington Stanley board and therefore opinions can be expressed about our own.
So tell me this why start talking about Chesterfield of all clubs ?
Stick to our own and if you think its wrong to be critical of a signing - tough.
I'd take Anyon as a keeper - and we need one.

Mind you ST06 is probably planning how we spend the £1.5m for Shay .................

Well as its a club in our league if something happens there it does affect Accrington, if your so bothered about talking about other clubs why not comment on the Orient one? Or let me guess you have players at Chesterfield and heavens forbid someone critiques a club one of your players is at

We have discussed plenty of other clubs in this forum : Morecambe (very often), Blackpool, Leyton Orient, Hereford -
and lots of others. If you don't have any players there, maybe you don't take any interest.

Speaking of Morecambe, I drove past there yesterday and saw 1 season tickets nailed to the office door. I thought I'd better remove them for safe keeping, somebody could make uuse of them. So if anybody needs a couple of nails I've 2 spare ...
