Southport friendly

Anyone going to the match at Southport tomorrow? I'm considering going (though not 100% sure yet), and would love to meet people from this forum if any of you will be there.
Cheers,
Diego

ps: I'm the Brazilian fella who's been to Accrington a few times, in case you don't remember me! I'm living in Liverpool, taking the train to Southport would be fairly simple

Have a good day out in Southport Diego!
I am off to Italy at 6.00 am for my Hols otherwise I would be with you at Southport to watch the developing Reds play another build up match.
I have watched all four of our Home Friendlies and the squad seems to be coming together nicely.
However, I still think that we need to sign another Goalkeeper and a Centre Forward with 'The Knack' of scoring regularly in order for our squad to be in a position to really challenge for promotion.
I would be interested to read your observations after tomorrows match Diego.....

Don't get too excited about B triallist, word from someone who's at the game is that it's same lad who played against Oldham - strange though, he was called A trial list then?? :)

Unlikely to be Cisak as he's just signed a two-year deal with Sydney FC:

Re: Southport friendly

The keeper was B Trailist, as Southport had A Trailist!!

B Trailist has a contract at another club; hence the "lack of a name".

Certainly wasn't the same lad as last week who is connected with a NW PL club.

King Coley now has "options":)

nige b 29-07-2017 20:23

Re: Southport friendly

Isn't this now getting rather ludicrous that we have to give someone on trial a letter prior to their name that can't coincide with another guy on trial, heaven forbid a few years ago we would have had z trialist!

monkey hanger 30-07-2017 08:22

Re: Southport friendly

used to think when i was a kid that A.Trialist, A.N.Other where actually their proper names and said they were both at workington last season.
