Trialist keepers

Hi guys, I'm researching your club and just wondered if anyone had any idea on which trialist keeper(s) had featured through pre-season? I'm assuming it's not looking like you are going to sign any of them and you'll go in to the start of the season with Chapman as #1. Best of luck! James

Re: Trialist keepers

Not quite true Cashy - the lad who played against Oldham was A.Trialist & the lad at Southport was B.Trialist so we got their initials:)

Re: Trialist keepers

ASFC don't name Trialists at the request of the Club they are registered to.

Once any club start breaking inter club agreement the chance of getting favours in the future fades fast

How did we get Kayden Jackson for 3 games?? By taking on board a Championship clubs requests we got a good result!!

Re: Trialist keepers

Nowt wrong yon if theres good reason for it, whilst its annoying to fans if its beneficial to the club then no problem. an explanation always helps.

Definitely, I understand why they just name the player as A Trialist at the time. However I was wondering if there were any names for players who'd already moved on with the club deciding not to progress any further.
Again completely understand if the club still choose to decide not to name the player regardless!

All the trailists have left the building baring Big Ben and Kayden who have signed.

Part of the agreement with Barnsley was he couldn't to be named.

Totally agree Cashy 19 squad members including 3 youngsters is quite a concern ok Shay,s departure may have not been planned but that still is only 20 and 1 keeper, Coley said he wanted to work with a small squad but another keeper + 2 is a neccessity.

andyd,
agree

would expect to have 2 players for every position, could prove essential by November when the suspensions and injuries start racking up

Didnt read it properly!

Seems strange he wasn't in the Team Photo today if he's already signed...

some though thought we,d signed too many last season though. a smaller squad might give a chance to some who wouldn,t get a look in otherwise.

The only person not on trial here was the keeper :D

I was on about Ben Richards-Everton, as i think was Mr.T (just going off the fact that he called him Ben Richards ) course I might be wrong & you might be aware of another Ben who's been trialling?? Time will tell I suppose :)

After signing Jonny Edwards and Kayden, Coley did mention about bringing another striking option in so presume that's one?

Loan keeper makes 2?...

With you on that Cashy :) Maybe Coley tried to get other keepers in first??? Maybe never know, just hope that this lad is as good as - or even better - than Rodak :)

I believe he was waiting for international clearance before any announcement could be made. I hope he is as good as he is being made out to be. We need all the help we can get now.

You never know, could be another Peter Schmeichel, now that was a great Dane. :)

Re: Trialist keepers

Looks decent on his video, but they could make anybody look decent with editing. The greatest tell tale sign though is his apparent rapport with the fans. Seems to really buzz of it but you only really get the rapport if you've something about you
