Got to agree with the above.
I called at the office on Monday to check about ticket availability for a pal who'd agreed to attend & was told there were 300 odd tickets left for the Clayton End.
As far as I'm aware, the Clayton End capacity is 1600.
Assuming no more tickets were sold in the next 24 hrs (highly unlikely!) it means that 50% of last night's gate was behind the Clayton End?????
When you consider the Coppice End was full & even the scratting shed was packed.
When there were no fewer than 8 - yes 8! WBA supporter's coaches parked on Livingstone Road, I think someone is telling a few porkies.

Assuming your figures are correct Lord S and Mab's figures of 1297 Baggies fans then that assumes only 90 people were in the Main stand. There was definitely more than that even excluding club officials. I fear as I originally said, there are ghosts amongst our club.

I was very suspicious of the declared figures, There were a lot more people in the ground. I would have guessed at 3500 at least.

WHAT!!!!!
There were 439 fewer WBA fans than the PNE supporters - do me favour!
The ground was much fuller for the Baggies game.
The only area with empty seats was our stand between hospitality & the Clayton End.
Methinks a bit of creative accountancy is afoot.
