2017/18 Prediction League; Game 7 v Grimsby Town (home)

Hi everyone

Sorry for the delay; I'm afraid my internet has been down at home for 48 hours (and showing no signs of repair), which in turn has taken my wi fi down ("internet signal too weak"), so I can't access anything to do anything (I've snatched a couple of minutes at work to put this message up)

Please treat this as the "thread starter"; if I can, I'll put my usual drivel up later today or tomorrow, but no promises ............... at least you won't waste your time reading it!

Thanks

PS I'm on EE ("Everything Everywhere", which I think should re-name to NA ("Nothing Anywhere"). Any clever people know who I should change to, and how I get it fixed for now? If so, can you PM me?

Stanley 3 Grimsby 0 please D3N.

By the way, EE are useless, Vodafone are abysmal, BT are c**p - they are all much of a muchness. All ready to extract money from us, but unhelpful and clueless when anything goes wrong.

Now see what you've done! Jinxed us ......

I make it that two people got one bonus point each, Chimer for their 2 goals and Kiwi for our one

Hardly worth doing a new PL table Chris!

Ossy Kid Gains Plaices As Stanley Flounder

By, as indicated above, being one of only three players to get a point on Tuesday, that being enough to lift him from 6th onto the podium in 3rd.

The other two scorers made less progress :(. I snuck up from13th= to 12th, and Kiwi from 27th= to 27th alone, leaving Football19 as the rearmost of our regular players, level with the less regular LongLostSon and Norwich Stanley in 28th. Jims Lad and Proccy Fan went awol this time around, but it didn't cost 'em anything .

I used ref's discretion to allow AngeB's entry, timed at 1946 , as letting it count reduces her average points score significantly :D.

Hum. Roll on Chesterfield. They got out of the bottom 3 yesterday, so hopefully we won't feel the need to be our usual charitable selves on Saturday. On Stanley On!!
