Great Result, Little Movement
Kiwi John took the reverse psychology hit this week :), for which many thanks, and Proccy Fan tried the fence for a different viewpoint ;). Neither took any points, but everyone else got 3 or 4, apart from your reporter :o and AngeB who, alone of the regulars, forgot to post a prediction. Amazingly, 3 of the 4-pointers got their bonus for "Stanley 4" - Dav007, Outback Ozzy and LongLostSon, while 10 got a bonus for "Them 1". That left another 10 taking the basic 3 points. Little scope for upward movement then, though PF and I plunged from 11th and 12th to 16th and 18th, respectively :(. Kiwi and Ange suffered less, having fewer regulars behind them at kick-off :D. The only changes in the Top Ten involved Tom D slipping past AndyD into 4th, and Lord S similarly elbowing AccyMad aside  on his way to 7th (ungentlemanly conduct, eh what?). So its roll on 10th-placed Cambridge in a fortnight, after a little light relief (hopefully ;)) against Guiseley next weekend. That's the first of 6 games against teams currently sitting 4th, 5th, 7th, 8th, 9th and 10th , before we complete the first half of the season against Crawley (currently 19th) on 23rd Dec. On Stanley On!! |
