Depends how long the window for buying is open. I didnt buy a season ticket this year because I couldnt spare £200 :(

If I do buy one it wont be because I agree with it

Here's a thought.
Instead of the club trying to milk £150 from fans for an overpriced shirt, how about celebrating this anniversary by actually giving something back to the supporters who keep this dream alive week in, week out!
A free pie would be nice.

I'd hope that there'll be other, more affordable commemorative items that will be available for those who want a keepsake of the 50 year milestone, badges, scarves etc.

good shout on those items. i for one would love a commemorative scarf. if i had 150 quid to spend or waste for a shirt i,d be off to harvey nicks.

An Anniversary shirt is a great idea but not at that price, the anniversary should be for all those supporters who have backed the club from 1968 onwards. Lets make it a celebration not a money grab.

Memories. That's what I'd say is the best value for money way of commemorating things.

I celebrated the centenary in 1993, so I can't see myself going 'back to the future' with this new initiative 💸

A footie match involving a junior Stanley Academy team and one drawn from other Primary schools in Accie, played on the hallowed turf of Peel Park, might be a way to celebrate the 50 years since Stanley's rebirth.
Could make it a big day out for young school kids, with current players making appearances, etc, etc.
It's the next 50 years that are important now.
