Tom's D Man Again As Sean And Billy Provide A Repeat Comeback Performance
Well, everybody thought we'd win :) (apart from Proccy Fan who usually thinks we'll win, but not today ). So 3 points in the bank there .... with a bonus :) for the 8 who thought we'd score 3, and an extra bonus :D for Tom D who thought we'd need to. Which took him into 2nd, just a point behind MonkeyHanger, hangering on to top spot, and ahead of Mab on countback, as those two both had to be content with 3 points (and a Stanley win, of course ;)). Most of the rest of the Top Ten took 4, the exceptions being Lord S who slipped behind DaveinGermany again (8th and 9th) and Mike A, who kept his toehold on the elite in 10th. Elsewhere Div3North climbed from 14th to 11th :), Tommy McQueen from 22nd to 20th :), Dav007 from 28th to 27th :), and Lord Love Rocket (whose name I'm only prepared to type in full once a season ) from nowhere to 32nd= (out of the 41 who've now had a punt at least once). So roll on Swindon, for one of our games in hand, helping to get Somerset's mind  back into balance (he must hate it when 4th Division teams get beyond the 2nd round of the cup). If we win we're back in the automatic spots, if by 2 or more, into 2nd. Might I suggest  this will be more easily achieved if we don't give them a 2 goal start? And  that this would also be better for our hearts? On Stanley On!! |
