£15000 a week players in league 2?

Notts County manager Lee Nolan offers out of contract Spaniard Diego Capel £10000 plus £5000 appearance money a week in a desperate attempt to clinch promotion is this a dangerous precedent or just stupid desperation?

Football wages in general are pretty stupid i think, especially in the Premier league, Fact is people pay what they think they can afford, its a case of living with it, sod all can be done. the money is very excessive in league 2 imho,

What are they going to pay the other 10 TEAM players to keep them playing as a TEAM.

Sounds like a publicity stunt to try to get a few more bums on seats and shift the remainder of their kits. They could make it pay for itself but Ferrets right, it would kill their team spirit.

Who remembers us trying to sign Ginola?

Falkirk signed Chris Waddle on a s-term deal and while he was very entertaining it screwed the whole team dynamic up. Sometimes players can be too good for their teammates.

8 week deal if he plays every game cost is £120,000.
