With 4 home games remaining 2 of which will be 4500+ we could just creep past 2000 average gate well done to everyone if that's the case.

we should have an average of over 2000 anyway especially this season.

The stewards and facilities could not really cope in the Clayton End for the FGR match. Not sure if the new stand is warranted yet as it is not often like that, but dread to see it with 4,500.

Do yeh not think if we go up, likely to be some large supported teams in div 1,? who have damn good followings.

And there will be the 'curiosity' value of a new ground for many of them, first season syndrome!

(plus, Cashy, it's 'when' we go up, not 'if', you must have typed that without thinking!)

Not really surprised!
On my last 2 visits, the gate attendant took my (season) ticket but didn't electronically scan it, as normal.
So presumably, I was a non-attender, until the actual ticket stubs were re-counted

that will happen i,m sure. plenty of fans go to an away game if they have never seen their team play there. portsmouth never brought as many as their first game against us.

Andy didn't really "order" a re-count; they are done as a matter of course; he just happened to have called in for a brew as the count was complete.

FGR sold 106 tickets so that's the figure we use. Fact people were allocated/ purchased a ticket and didn't use it adds to the argument for pre-sales.

Could everybody please ask the turnstile operators at the Clayton End to scan their ticket and well as remove the ticket/stubs. Any issues please let a steward know.

Yes Clayton End concourse was too busy, hence the re-introduction of the main stand "compound" with beer, food and toilets for all remaining home game.
