I only hope that it isn't another promotion chasing club trying to get us a points deduction for illegal payments.

Its only a few short weeks since Fatty Evans had a rant about Stanley spending big ... he seemed to have lost the plot and left Mansfield shortly after. Perhaps he found out about McD win bonuses and demanded the same from Mansfield?

Surely there is no chance of that.

I think Andy has handled it well by lightly mocking the approach of the football league

Surely a meal from McDonald's should be considered as a penalty rather than a benefit.

What about when various teams get 'A Treat' of a day on the Golf Course as a break from serious training or for doing well in a match?:hititbana
Do the players all pay Course Fees individually or do their clubs pay for them as a 'Treat'?

Burger 'bonus': Accrington Stanley 'reminded of responsibilities' by EFL - BBC Sport

Just a storm in a takeaway cup, nice attempt by the EFL to save face after their 'investigation' though . . . . . . .
And given all the free publicity Macdonald's got from this, the lads next burger order should be free :)

I can't believe what the efl have come up with, rather than admit they got it wrong.
they remind Stanley they have to buy burgers win or lose, in effect reward the team for losing

at the end of the day i wonder what freebees fa and efl representatives get during the season. no queues for food and portaloos for them.

:) How Andy Holt and Accrington Stanley's Burgergate has further damaged the EFL's reputation :)

Has Accrington Stanley changed their name.
According to the text next to Andy’s photo they are called Accrington Town.
