Flag/Banner Question
 

While browsing through the flag photos on Kipax' site I saw a couple of references to an Andy Morris. Can somebody fill me in on this? Who is he and what has he done to be imortalized on a Stanley banner?

Is this some sort of state secret? Surely someone must know the answer to this question. I have "Googled" this to death and still have no idea what those banners are on about.

Andy Morris is an Hereford fan who made friends with a couple of Accy fans (Plumb etc) at England games some years ago. they have since kept in touch and the Accy lads make a big do of it when there playing each other. Andy Morris banner also seen at Aldershot cus the telly was there.

Thanks for that, Kipax. I was expecting the story to run along the lines of "Journalist/pundit who hates the Stanley and can't ever say anything nice about the team" so I was getting really frustrated at not finding any results in my search. It's nice to see that the story is much more pleasant.

Of course, I can see why the answer was slow in coming. If stories like this get out, you guys will have a much more difficult time pulling off that whole "English football fans are all a bunch of hooligans" theme. Then what would the rest of those oh-so-perfect fans on the Continent have to gossip and moan about? ;)

Andy Morris runs the bar at Hereford and is a top host as well

Yep, In fact the banners at Hereford first time can be seen outside that bar..well in the car park but the pics are at the bar he has :)
