Re: Pre Season Friendly Thread
I think sats game against Blackburn will attract our biggest gate of the 3, also reckon it will be our hardest to get a result.

Re: Pre Season Friendly Thread
Bit of a changed lineup tonight with a few 'fringe' players starting.
Maxted, Rodgers, Wood, Sykes, Richards-Everton, Finley, Mingoia, Nolan, Trialist, Williams, Sousa If Sousa bags another couple of goals, might be pushing to feature more in the league. |

Re: Pre Season Friendly Thread
Good competitive run out ,especially for the younger lads.
Good cross from Piero for Billy’s goal, but keeper will be disappointed with There goal. Both sides had chances to win it . |
Re: Pre Season Friendly Thread
Another good display today against a good Blackburn side, Sykes i thought really stood out this aft,Glad we got the lad on a 2 year contract, Who ever would have thought we would beat "ALL 3" of these higher league sides? Certainly i didn't.!

Re: Pre Season Friendly Thread
I thought that we totally outplayed them in the first half and should have been two goals up. Yes Cashy. I agree that Sykes looked really good and solid and composed. Second half Rovers immediately upped the pace and they were much better. We did six subs and then looked unbalanced. They subbed a few too and the game quality detracted somewhat. Rovers missed a real sitter late in the game but we deserved the win overall. Sousa looked bright late on too. The team looked pretty fit as well. Looking forward to seeing the boys take on the clubs in League One!

Re: Pre Season Friendly Thread
My god!! given these 3 outstanding pre season results, I'm starting to glance over in the direction of my 'High Horse' , just shuffling about over there in the field at the back of the pack...
