Tickets for Gillingham?

No real reason why anyone on here would know (maybe Mr T?) but I'm wondering if and when I'll be able to order tickets for the Gillingham game.

Having already booked 3 nights of hotels in the Lakes and 2 at the Dunkenhalgh :(, the usual cost of getting Mrs Chimer oop North , it'd be very sad to turn up as walk-ons and find the place sold out  as there's no cattle shed any more! So any info gratefully received (I know I could just ring, but don't want to bother busy people if they can't help yet).

Re: Tickets for Gillingham?

We're still trying to cram in all those that have bought ST's (seated) plus track down the Life Members so we aren't allocating spaces to those who don't need them.

My guess for attendance v Gills; 1500

Stop worrying; that's my job!

It may be a bigger gate than that if tickets are on sale early enough,

i know august is smack in the middle of the holiday season and some including me will be away but if we cannot get more than 1500 in for the first home game after promotion then the club really does have a problem.

Sounds a bit on the low side, Mr T! I realise the Accrington public are notorious for their abject apathy, but with over 1,000 season tickets sold, and hopefully a few hundred Gills turning up for their first match of the season, I would've thought we could expect 2,000 at least!

Re: Tickets for Gillingham?

Gills only wanted 200 tickets;

Whilst 1000 + ST's sold; my guess will be around 10% plus won't be used on 4th August due to holiday commitments.
Hope I'm wrong but the usual constant steam of callers/ phone calls saying " can we pls have our ST, as I'm/ we're away for the first game!!

£20 away at Mansfield in league cup?

Well done to both clubs for agreeing such prices and assuring hardly anyone attends.

Re: Tickets for Gillingham?

Finally the Gills tickets are in Accy; on sale in person tomorrow and via the phone on Monday

Mansfield in Caraboa isn't ASFC's idea.

Home club asks then decides. Not our decision, but an easy one to loose as not too many will travel.

Mansfield's loss (again);)

Fair enough if thats the way of it.

Re: Tickets for Gillingham?

Current regulations, and these have not changed for years:

23.1 Immediately after the draw is known the two Clubs concerned must mutually agree the prices. All questions in dispute must be immediately referred to the Management Committee for settlement.

https://www.efl.com/carabao-cup/abou...--regulations/

It isn't the FA Challenge Cup where the home club sets them now and they have to be accepted.

Agree not a friendly place neither is Leeds or Luton not places you openly go for a pre match drink bedecked in team colours.
