Adverse weather meant that the match was called off in the 73rd minute at 1-1 The date of the rearranged fixture will be decided in future. The attendance unfortunately will be wiped from the records books. Unfortunately there is no winner of Sunderland GtG 8/12/18. Bit surprised there were only 1600 Sunderland fans, (I say only, it's fantastic support for a Wednesday night) but there just looked like loads more, coppice end seemed full plus those in the stand. Also, walking down Whalley Rd after the game you could've been forgiven for thinking you were in the north east :)
