You referring to this article? https://www.hitc.com/en-gb/2019/03/0...ears-after-el/

He isn’t out of contract in Summer, he has 2 years left on his contract that he signed in Summer if I remember rightly? However that’s not to say clubs wouldn’t come in for him I suppose. We need to keep him as long as we can as he’s a great attribute to the squad

Doubt very much if Ross would move just yet, probably in another 18 month or so. i reckon.

still learning his game and will learn more playing for us than bench warming at a bigger club at this moment.

I’d imagine Holty adding a significant sell on clause to any deal in the future for Ross.
Can’t see him going anywhere yet though, definitely learning his trade well with us, especially partnering Hughes at centre half (100% our best partnership at the back)

Lets hope there is another deal in the offing, and that it reflects his growing reputation. If he doesnt sign a new contract we'll lose him for compo only under the Bosman doodahs. Compo would be decidedon how long he's been with us (through the academy), status in the team (regularish) and the deal offered

I think Ross would be ill advised to move to Sunderland at this moment. He definitely needs the game experience of at least another season before he even contemplates a move. He has all the makings of a great player but as others have said he is not there yet.
