Re: 2019/20 Prediction League; Game 15 v Peterborough United (away)
You've got to think a point at their place would be a result, so I'll go for 2-1 Stanley

A Good Night For The Pragmatists
The loyalists were badly outnumbered last night :(, with only 5 remaining on our side of the fence, while 8 clambered onto it and 11 leapt nimbly on to the other side. And it was the leapers who leapt up our table :(, with Monkey Hanger (3 pts, now leading by 1) and Outback Ozzy (4pts) opening up a bit of daylight at the top, and Accybeme (4 pts) taking over the 3rd podium spot from Valairian. Revived Red's 3 pts only improved his position from 6= to 6th, but 4 pts for StanleyJosh and Taypot saw them both into the elite at 7th and 10= respectively. But no-one fell out of the Top Ten, as Accytom18 and MikeA share 10=, so there are 12 in the 10 - OK  No maxis for anybody, though Dav007 came close ;), getting the difference right but the scores wrong with his 1-5  (which I think we can call a "Reverse Wynonie" :D). And a number of players (including me :o) apparently taken by surprise by a Wednesday game, with a low turnout of only 24. Hey ho ….. So, roll on Gillingham. Just a point ahead but with a startlingly better goal difference (partly due to playing Bolton when everybody was scoring 5 against them ). It's about time we won 2 in a month, don't you think? This could be the moment …. On Stanley On!! |
