Bury afc
I would like to wish our old adversaries Bury, now reformed as Bury afc the very best of luck for the coming season, bury deserves to have a team in the football league but 8 promotions is going to be a mountainous climb

Re: Bury afc
It will be a mountainous climb but it can be done (just look at us, took a while but we did it) & it was the only way to get rid of that leach Steve Dale - best of luck to them

Re: Bury afc
Initially, I was a little confused by this thread. Bury FC still exist so haven't themselves reformed as Bury AFC, although what will happen to Bury FC in the next few days is anybody's guess.
I imagine accybeme started this off after seeing reports such as those on: https://www.theguardian.com/football...glish-football and https://www.nwcfl.com/news-articles.php?id=8121. Bury AFC also have a Twitter account at https://twitter.com/OfficialBuryAFC/...77824400809985 I fully support what fans have done with Bury AFC. The town well deserves to have a League side. I suppose there's a slight issue with whether the phoenix club can meet the NWCFL requirement to have ground grade H criteria by 31st March but I can't imagine the fans behind Bury AFC not having considered this. I don't know the situation with Gigg Lane. I hope that it will host EFL games in the future but I suspect there are significant issues. Whatever the outcome, good luck to Bury AFC and their progress up the pyramid. |
Re: Bury afc
Good luck to all, nobody deserves what they are going through.
