Re: 2021 season tickets!!!
Does anyone think we will sell anywhere near the reduced capacity in season tickets much as I would like to think so I don't think we will.
|
Re: 2021 season tickets!!!
Not sure Andy to be honest???
One hand, people who know that they will not get to many games, due to restrictions, might not bother?? The other hand, people will hand over their money regardless, for the benefit of the Club :) :) :) :) |
Re: 2021 season tickets!!!
Last season 1295 tickets sold but this figure included loyalty card holders, guessing probably around 1000+ or - actual season ticket holders you would have to have a 100% renewal plus 50%newbies would be fantastic for income and potentially longer term ticket holders but it's a big ask.
|
Re: 2021 season tickets!!!
That will include everything!!
Season Tickets, Life Members, Loyalty Cards, kids tickets Etc. You are right about the 50% increase, we will have to see :) :) :) :) |
Re: 2021 season tickets!!!
are loyalty cards being sold at the same time as ST or at a later date.

Even though it needs a rise in sales to sell out, the ST only costs 11 match day sales so I can see a lot of new ST holders even though some will be lost. It may not go to full capacity to 2021/22. |

Re: 2021 season tickets!!!
I have a cracking seat in the main stand and paid for this seasons ticket before the end of last season. Whilst i will likely have to give my normal seat up until this virus quietens down it does leave me a little nervous that my regular seat gets lost in the wash and i may lose my seat....hopefully not.

Re: 2021 season tickets!!!
Renewed about 40 minutes queue time but when I came out queue right around car park good sign well done to club well organized.
|
Re: 2021 season tickets!!!
Still quite a queue at 3pm, will try again tomorrow.
|
Re: 2021 season tickets!!!
Around 20 in the queue from 5pm onwards;
Wasn't a perfect day BUT hopefully minimal complaints in Accy Ob; Letters to the Editor!:) |
Re: 2021 season tickets!!!
I arrived about 1.20pm........long queue all round the edge of the car park. Many people rentewing multiple tickets for family and friends.......hence took about 2 and a half hours to get to the club shop. It was a sunny day good atmosphere. Only 2 people in the shop accepting completed forms and taking payment. Not sure why that was the case, maybe only two card machines? Anyway paid for my season ticket and requested my preferred stand. Was within the first 770 so the lady said I would get a pass for the Oxford league game which was why I came on the first day to renew.
The MD was round and apologised for the wait, but really it is what it is. I came on the first day so I would be eligible for an Oxford seat and new it would be busy. I would think it will be quieter after Wednesday and Thursday. Just waiting for my pass to come for the Oxford home game and iFollow codes for Leeds U23's on the 8th Sept and Peterborough on the 12th Sept. Really looking forward to the start of the season now......:) |

Re: 2021 season tickets!!!
I got there for 1pm and queued right round the two sides of the car park. It took 1 hour 50 minutes to get to the shop. It was all good humoured and good conversations were had between those socially distancing in the queue. I thought it was well organized and as efficient as it could be. I also had a look at the Accy Pals Memorial Garden on my way out and it looks splendid and a fitting tribute to the boys from our town who fought for our freedom. Really looking forward to seeing real football live at The Wham Stadium.
ON STANLEY ON. |
Re: 2021 season tickets!!!
770 season ticket marker for the Oxford pilot event game has been reached well done to everyone now let's reach 1535 would be some achievement and a new record in sales of season tickets.
|
Re: 2021 season tickets!!!
Good news for the lucky 770................
|
Re: 2021 season tickets!!!
Only 15 left for the Clayton End!
|
Re: 2021 season tickets!!!
Main stand is full as well, I went this afternoon but missed being one of the 770 by a couple of hours.
|
Re: 2021 season tickets!!!
Decent sales figures so far, but if they do sell out, minus VAT it is going to be less than £0.25m for the season for the season until more people are let in. That is assuming a lot paying full adult price and it could be a lot less.
The figures are bleak - we would not have survived this 10 years ago. |

I am not aware how the potential away fan ifollow will work, which could mitigate some losses. I doubt there will be £1 a pint winner's 48 minutes any more :) |
Re: 2021 season tickets!!!
Got mine and my sons tonight just 2 in front of me and no one behind ,not in main stand have been put in the new stand 🙃 at least we're in !

Then the majority were on the day payers/away fans, paying around twice as much as the season ticket holder. There would be at least 50% more income compared to this season if restricted throughout. Stanley will only be allowed just over half last season's average, and lots of other clubs with higher attendances have similar ratios as they may get far more fans but there grounds are only half normally, like stanley. |
Re: 2021 season tickets!!!
How will the new restrictions on no more than six people gathering outside going to effect the return of fans, will it mean a delay beyond October maybe Mr.T., can answer please because this is totally confusing yet again?

There must have been over 1,000 people at the Car Boot Sale at Great Harwood show field on August Bank Holiday Monday. I drove past there and couldn’t believe what I was seeing!:eek::eek:
|
Re: 2021 season tickets!!!
The club won't know as the Government don't know yet. With Hyndburn data shooting up this week, even though we are talking in the 20s, and localised measures, I can see no return of any fans on the cards at the Crown until the first round of the FA Challenge Cup. If it does get any worse it will be 2021.

Re: 2021 season tickets!!!
As it stands will the pilot game against Oxford with 770 Stanley fans go as planned?

The 1,000 pilot limit imposed last week doesn't affect us,but as it stands nothing has been decided and everything is under review. I could see the 1,000 limit being imposed on all grounds in October which wouldn't be too bad for us. |

It seems clear that so many are totally unconcerned regarding the possible outcome of contracting C19 !... and thus the possibility of watching our Team live and kicking diminishes daily.. Keep your chin up !. All together then ... “ we’ll meet again.. we know where but don’t know when !”. |
Re: 2021 season tickets!!!
Sports authorities including football will meet with government members for sport to discuss crowds in venues later this week let's hope for a sensible outcome because otherwise many clubs in many sports will struggle.

Peterborough apparently 21st in list off high infection rates that in theory should blast us right of the go-ahead list then.

Re: 2021 season tickets!!!
PHE figures are a worry, but Hyndburn isn't an "intervention area"
We are now hopeful of "positive news" Busily doing our Stage 5 protocols. When you get back into Stade De Wham; you will all need to follow the rules and regs. Won't be the best experience; BUT please "buy in" :) |
Re: 2021 season tickets!!!
How many stages are there?

Its totally mad that they havnt switched over to using the positive results as a %age of total tests taken that way if you get 200 positive tests out of 20k it means very little whereas if you got 200 positives out of 200 tests youre in deep trouble but under the current method it means exactly the same. I would expect those making the decisions wont panic because they know in two weeks thse figures will drop thru the floor just as quickly as they went up. Even being the hospital that provides cover for Blackburn and Pendle and to an extent parts of Bolton and Preston all areas in enhanched measures and with some of the highest rates in the country the Royal Blackburn are managing perfectly well and havnt seen a massive surge in admissions and definitely not in deaths despite the high figures. |
