We haven't been great and should be 2-0 up if we could get into any kind of gear we should take all the points.

Poor goal to give away let them run with the ball nobody commited to the challenge or a foul for the team.

Re: Burton Thread

Couldn't understand apart from giving lads game time why we took Cassidy off who had the two best chances put Colby on who for 28 minutes rarely saw the ball, then went behind and took Sama off who Marshalled Kane the whole match we then looked vumerable.

Disappointing result, haven't watched it so can't comment much but it didn't exactly sound like a classic - let's hope we're allowed in next week & we can help the lads get a better result against Oxford

Wind didnt help today but could not understand the substitutions today:confused:

Re: Burton Thread

I can understand them.
Cassidy worked hard and was blowing through his a*** and Sama was one more incident from a red.

Disappointed with the result but, really looking forward to next week and the rest of the season if we are allowed to attend. C'mon you Reds.

So you’ve never heard of anyone get a straight red ??????
Hemmings knew exactly how to press his buttons.

I personally thought Sama and Hemming,s had a right tussle through the game and both give as good as got but think that Sama was keeping him quiet when he was took off don't think it was to save him from a card was tactical, as for Cassidy running out of steam don't agree Bishop just didn't get going for me who would be a manager.

just thought it was a lousy game more or less from start to finish. we looked bang average on the day and so did they. the subs might not have worked out for coley but at least he made em. he would have been a yactical genious if they had come off. a draw would have been a fair result for me. apart from our goal nothing dropped for us in the box, but next week could be a different thing.

It was a lousy game Burton seem good at stifling sides by possession football that goes nowhere except to either of the dangerous front two we could have been 3-0 up playing under par another day we will wipe the floor with them comes with experience, we are a young learning side but at this level you have to put chances away.

I wasn't in my earlier post about the subs having a go at John just my personal slant on the game as you said it could have gone the other way like I say who would be a manager.

Burton,s two danger men for a while now have been Hemmings and Akiins to me Sama had been told stick to Hemmings like glue and he did that to a tee, the substitution was tactical to bring the wide men in and pinch the points after missing those chances I would have been happy with a point but after saying all that it was a beauty of a winner

thought Savin was unlucky with the winner, looked like he got a hand on it
