One entry is enough for most people ..... Not sure how Chimer will cope, but I will check that you don’t get double points if it does finish 2-1 :p |

For the avoidance of doubt , if anyone posts more than one guess, sorry, carefully considered prediction, I take the last one. |

All maxed out as 8 hit the jackpot
Well, two wins on the bounce, both from 1-0 down, puts a smile :) on the face :D, doesn't it? And 2-1 to the Stan-er-lee is a popular score most weeks, so no surprise to find 8 maxis recorded on Saturday. Only 2 went to our early pacesetters though, with one for Mab lifting him up from 3rd to 2nd, and one for Accytom18 moving him from 6th to 5th. The others went to Choirboy (9th to 6th), DaveinGermany (10= to 8th), AccyMad (13= to 9th), Watchdog (23= to 14=) and LongLostSon and Leylandii (in lockstep from 26= to 19=). Of note is that this is D-i-G's 2nd maxi from his only 2 goes - he just might regret sleeping through the first 3 games by the end of the season ;). Stanley Josh now sits on a two point lead at the top of the table, with 4 out of 5 results right :), but still no maxi . For the rest of us, 3 pessimists got nowt and 3 drawmongers got one bonus point, while everybody else weighed in with 3 or 4 points (4 for 2-0, 3-1 or 4-1). So a good time was had by all, and a hoodoo laid to rest :) for good measure. So on we roll to the farmlands of East Anglia to meet the (so far ;)) table-topping  tractor boys. Time to put a rock in their tidy furrow? I think we just might, don't you? :D On Stanley On!! |
