Outback Stretches His Lead With A Touch Of Pragmatism

Well, it stood to reason that after beating Gillingham down in Kent, we'd see off Blackpool at home, didn't it? :rolleyes: And so 21 of us thought, against 4 undecided fence-sitters and Monkey Hanger who had a bad feeling :confused:. While Mab, StanleyJosh and StevieR went missing .....

And thus it came to pass that the drawmongers were blessed once again, though only mildly blessed with 3 points :):):), as no-one foresaw a goalless afternoon. Chief amongst the drawmongers being Outback Ozzy, who thereby increased his lead at over Ossy Kid and AccyTom18 at the top of the table to 5 points. The other 3-pointers all inhabit the lower reaches ;), LongLostSon climbing from 22nd to 19th, Taypot from 24th to 21st, and Revived Red taking closer order but remaining in 27th :rolleyes:.

The vast majority of the optimists correctly thought we'd keep a clean sheet, and MH thought they would, so a bonus point :) for most of us means little other movement, perhaps only Cashman's surreptitious slide up from 7th to 5= being worth remarking. Oh, and StanleyJosh has exited the elite which he led for so long :(, his absence resulting in him giving up his share of 10th place.

So ..... a whole week off :D, and then it's roll on over to Donny unless the abandoned list grows in the meantime. This one should class as a difficult game :eek:, so we'll probably be OK, don't you think?
