No sense whatsoever in having two clubs whose games have been postponed because their opponents have had an outbreak sitting idle when they could be playing each other and reducing the number of outstanding games to be played.

A very good idea - apply for a job at the E.F.L. :)

sounds far too sensible to get a job with the EFL or the FA for that matter. do not know however what the regulations are regarding fixing up a game even if both teams agree to play. help please Mr.T.

There are more than likely not any rules, or, knowing Football Authorities as they are, there will be a 1000 page document about it, which will make it almost impossible to do!!!

It shouldn't be in the least difficult for clubs to flag up 72hrs ahead that they can't fulfill so with no fans anyway why can't club secs get on the blower to bring a fixture forward. Its called common sense. How about testing it Mr T - agree fixture with other club and ring league for approval. Perhaps it hasn't crossed their mind.
