Rochdale away thread
Same starting 11 should think need the 3 points today keep it tight again but a bit more creativity going forward.
|
Re: Rochdale away thread
a win would be a double celebration today. making our league position better and also making it harder for them playing stanley next season. rochdale down to me replaced by morecambe. surely i cannot be that lucky.

Re: Rochdale away thread
Same XI, just hope they are all fit :)

Re: Rochdale away thread
This funeral bizzo and your daylight saving nearly caught me out. I usually go to bed and wake up for the game....but today I realised ( courtesy of Bet 365) the whole thing starts about the time I would head off to the sack, so tonight I stay up till 2.30 AM our time then hit the sack-hopefully very happy.

Re: Rochdale away thread
think we will break the mould today and have a good win.

Fabulous cross from Morgan Barclay heading the equaliser.

Re: Rochdale away thread
C'mon boys-lets give them a good kicking.

Re: Rochdale away thread
Barclay header...1-1
|
Re: Rochdale away thread
We’re getting badly exposed down our right their left.
|
Re: Rochdale away thread
Hey people, do u know when crowds are allowed back to the footy?
|
Re: Rochdale away thread
Luckily I wasn't paying attention when Dale went ahead, first score I saw was 1-1. Incidentally the Beeb think we're playing at the Crown Oil Arena today ....
"12:49 League One update Rochdale went a goal ahead through Jimmy Keohane at the Crown Oil Arena, but their lead lasted just two minutes after Accrington equalised through Ben Barclay's close-range header." Hey ho .... Ahhhh ..... we're away, aren't we? :o:o:o |

Re: Rochdale away thread
Enjoying the game but they are the better side upfront nothing is sticking Bishop isolated if we want a win which is what we need something maybe system needs changing, they are just playing possession football we need to pressure them and give Bishop some support upfront.

Re: Rochdale away thread
Lost iFollow again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Re: Rochdale away thread

Re: Rochdale away thread
Deserved they have completely outplayed us all over the park our midfield is wide open letting them run at us at will.
|
Re: Rochdale away thread
Is it me.. or does Phillips appear to be totally disinterested ?..
Our midfield is being completely outplayed because of his incapacity to play football !.. I hope he makes me eat words ! |

Well that sums the day up what was Savin doing there just put it into touch the simple things were done well by Rochdale not us.
|
Re: Rochdale away thread
Rochdale deserved the points, how are they bottom????
|
Re: Rochdale away thread
Rochdale are a team... Stanley are 11 men chasing a ball around !..
Can’t think they’ve trained all week to produce what we are seeing !. |

Re: Rochdale away thread
Coley has changed the system too many times this season - not like him.
All the injuries/suspensions have not helped. Need a full and fit squad ready for next season in LEAGUE ONE :) :) :) :) |

Because we are playing at the Crown Oil Arena ??? |
Re: Rochdale away thread
I can understand after the heavy defeats tightening up but the cost to our creative play last few games is glaring no width reliant on set pieces and also today losing out possession wise not a good performance chance in last few games for Coley to look at likes of Perritt and others looking towards next season.

Re: Rochdale away thread
What an embarrassing result playing the bottom side and losing in such a manner.
We must have played Brazil three times in as many weeks.........Peterborough aka Brazil, Wimbledon aka Brazil and now Rochdale aka Brazil...............at least we are losing by a smaller margin ....each time we play......Brazil! |

Re: Rochdale away thread
First time in a long time Coley looked/sounded down after a defeat....
Think he is right when he said they looked tired - been saying it for a while now. At least Donny have won today - their first in 10....... :) :) :) |

Obviously Sky are feeling sorry for us. They haven’t yet got the ‘highlights’ available to watch!

The first being that when I saw the pitch for yesterday’s game I thought “ Hmmm... this looks to be a good surface for Stanley’s ‘passing game ‘. Unfortunately, this style was replaced by one which meant that the ball, from The Reds point of view, spent more time at high altitude rather than on the floor. Secondly, as to ‘tiredness’ being a factor in the abysmal performances of late, it seems reasonable to assume that it takes more effort to kick a ball to a great height as to that rolling it around at ground level .. whither ‘ the passing game ‘ ?. Thirdly, and I don’t want to overuse the expression ‘ unfit for purpose ‘, but yesterday afternoon at least three of the team who started the game of were introduced as substitutes did not appear to have the basic skills or tactical awareness to play at Football League level !.. and I can’t be the only one to spot and realize these shortcomings !. Gosh !.. here I go prophet of dooming again ?..BUT.. |

Re: Rochdale away thread
be glad when this season comes to an end to be honest. will watch tomorrow nights game but that will be it for me with another tired substandard performance on view. on the whole the streaming has not been bad but just cannot imagine how anyone who is healthy and can attend games would ever want to become an armchair fan.
