Can anyone tell me what difference does watching different age groups have to do with potential spread of Covid.

possibly its about the extra revenue thats needed to stage a game now. extra people involved for testing temperatures, forms for fans to fill in, track and trace etc. just for a friendly game. went to the stockport v pools game the other week and the do,s and don,t spoilt the day out.

Also no drinks or food available on the the day it could be a hot day not very good especially if you have kids in tow not sure about home fans only but I,ll be giving it a miss too much hassle no disrespect but for a under 23,s game no thanks.

they all seem to be going down that line. surely it cannot be healthy on a hot day with the possibility of being in the ground 3 hours with the insistance of clubs staggering arrival times without extra liquid in you. fine for them who bring there own stuff like i do but i,ve forgot more than once doing this.

That is already subject to challenge if it isn't removed completely on July 21st.

But as food vans are now able to trade without restrictions they could just park a couple of them in the ground.

But really Boris has no choice but to lift all the restrictions as now no matter how high the infection rates go without the serious illness, hospital admissions and deaths support for keeping them is really now down to just the loony fringe who.ve kept themselves locked away since day one.

Really enjoyable day, thought Stanley more than matched their Championship opponents. First half was pretty even, without too many clear cut chances. But what I really enjoyed was the way the young lads who came on in the second half really had a go at Preston. They were eager for the ball, chased down everything and put Preston under pressure for the last fifteen or so minutes. Very impressed with Tommy Leigh - he won every header and his long throw-ins caused havoc. Also the ‘trialist’ on the left wing, who laid on the goal, was excellent.
Well done to the lot of them.

Unfortunately couldn't be there today sounds like we were the better side even though it's only a friendly we know John wants to win everything, the trialist you mentioned supposed to be signing on a permanent deal this week. Looking like as long as nobody leaves this is probably the strongest squad assembled ever at Stanley with big lads in there and young good lads eager for a starting point, looking hopefully as well as not relying on too many loaners.

didn,t see any of these games but by all accounts the players seem to be playing well and winning where the latter is not that important in a friendly but a bonus. everything does seem to be encouraging for the start of the season. at this stage of some seasons we were still worried about players leaving and not having replacements till the last week before kick off.

if so his pedigree is far better than the ones windass and crooks had before they were signed plus colby bishop and charles for that matter.

I agree Cashy Coleys Achilles heel has been subs, could understand it a bit when the bench was inexperienced and we had some poor squads. Now though with all the progress under Andy Holt on and off the field less of a problem and before anyone says we are having a dig at Coleman today was only a friendly and he has done a fantastic job.

Very poor first half and awful defending for both goals. Second half was better with more urgency in the play. Nobody seemed to be able to handle Angol early on.

Perhaps if Dion had buried his headed chance in the second half, things might have been different? However, Bradford deserved the win.
