Interesting move from MK Dons to use a defender to take goal kicks, passing the ball to their keeper. I did wonder what Mr Guardiola would think about his keeper being asked to play like that.

I don't want you to think that I always reply in negative , and terms which would outshine the moans of the prophet Jeremiah LIC.. but it did appear to me from James Traffords' general demeanour that he wasn't completely happy with his lot against MKD .
Perhaps he wasn't altogether enamoured by what was happening in front of him..
Best that I put it down to the mysterious vagaries of youth, or a misapprehension on the part of this aged observer !.

:) :) :)

If that happens and I agree Coley has been known to do it before with Conneelly especially as club captain surely if you know your not 100% or very close to it surely you should be asking questions about playing or not and risking further or serious damage to one's body?

Unusually, the whole match is available on https://www.accringtonstanley.co.uk/...playvideo=true. It seems to be the incident that led to Lewington receiving a yellow card. I can't see much in it, but something may have been said to the ref.

not even a handbag in sight either. football must be the only industry where its proffesionals actually want action taken against other lads in it. they quickly forget when the boot is on their feet. should keep their dirty gobs shut and leave that for the fans.

If it was something which was said to the ref it's quite likely it was he who reported it, not necessarily other players
